Are you growing up in heaven?

Do you laugh and play and run?

Is it like a perfect playground?

Are you having lots of fun?

Do you know we love you dearly,

and we miss you every day?

Will we ever know the reason

Why you didn't get to stay?

I was thrilled to be your grandma

I had a grandma plan.

I saw your life before you,

As only a grandma can.

I have spoiled you little sweetie

But in a way that's good

You'd know a grandma's

Perfect love,

Like every baby should

We only had a tiny cup

Of time to spend with you.

We fell in love with all our hearts,

And know you loved us, too.

So save a swing for grandma

On that playground above.
